Alerts & notifications
This guide explains how to set alerts in the Alerts tab and how to choose where notifications are delivered. An alert is a rule you create yourself: you define the condition, the platform watches, and you are notified when it happens.
1. Alert types
Section titled “1. Alert types”Press + New rule in the Alerts tab to create a rule. The available types:
- Price. Fires when the pair’s price breaks your target from the direction you choose, or touches the target from either direction if you pick both.
- Proximity. Fires early, once price is within a set percentage of the target. Useful as an advance warning before the level is actually touched.
- Zone. Fires when price touches a zone you follow. There are two sources: subscribed zones from automatic detection, and Zone Watch for zones you saved yourself on the chart.
- News. Fires when a market headline matches the keywords you set for a pair.
Every rule can be edited or deleted at any time, and the history of fired alerts is kept with price and time, so you can judge for yourself how useful a rule has been.
2. Where notifications go
Section titled “2. Where notifications go”The Delivery channels section in the same tab shows the channels active for your account:
- In-app. Notifications appear inside the web app while you have it open.
- Telegram. Sent as a direct message to your Telegram account once linked; see Connect Telegram. The most useful channel when you are away from the screen.
- Email. Configured per event type through the notification preferences in Settings.
The same notification preferences also govern messages beyond your own alerts, such as updates from running bots, so you can choose what you want to hear about and what is fine to just be recorded.
3. Quota per plan
Section titled “3. Quota per plan”The number of active rules follows your plan: the Free plan comes with a basic quota to get to know the feature, and paid plans open larger quotas along with additional trigger types. The current details are on the plans page inside the app.
An alert is a monitoring aid, not a signal to act. It tells you that the condition you set has occurred; the decision about what to do with that information remains yours.
