Automation: Grid & DCA
For repeatable strategies, you can hand the execution to bots you configure yourself. The bots run the rules you set; the parameters are in your hands, not decided by the platform. On the Pro plan, bots can even run on a separate account from your manual trading.
Example of bots running. Figures are illustrative only, not a projection of results.
DCA bot
Section titled “DCA bot”Buys gradually on a schedule or under conditions you set, with a fixed or adjusting purchase size as the price drops. The exit strategy can be holding the position, a profit target, or a trailing take-profit.
Grid bot
Section titled “Grid bot”Places a ladder of orders across a price range you define yourself or built automatically from ATR, with equal spacing by percent or dollar, and an allocation you can set. An entry trigger and trailing are available to follow price movement.
Before and after running
Section titled “Before and after running”Before running a bot, you can backtest, request a range suggestion, and check the minimum capital needed. Once active, each bot can be paused, resumed, stopped, or closed at any time.
