Control & security
Because Trader Pending works directly in your exchange account, control and security come first.
- Your own API keys. Each account connects to the exchange through a personal API key stored encrypted. Your data and positions are fully isolated from other users.
- Layered login. Sign in with email or Google, backed by verification, two-factor authentication, and active session management.
- Risk limits you define. Set a daily loss limit or a drawdown limit if you want; when reached, the bot stops automatically. These limits are optional and entirely under your control.
Two-factor authentication (2FA)
Section titled “Two-factor authentication (2FA)”The platform requires 2FA to protect your API keys and funds: trading actions stay locked until 2FA is in place. Enabling it takes only a few minutes:
- Open Settings, find the account security section, and choose Setup authenticator.
- Scan the QR code or enter the secret key into your authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Authy.
- Enter the 6-digit code from the app to verify.
- Store the recovery codes shown somewhere safe. They are displayed only once and are your way in if you lose your phone.
Disabling 2FA requires your password along with a TOTP code, and for safety every session is signed out automatically afterwards.
Active sessions
Section titled “Active sessions”The list of devices signed in to your account is available in Settings. If you see a session you do not recognise, use Log out all devices to sign out everywhere at once, then sign back in and change your password.
Trader Pending does not promise the safety of your funds or immunity from losses. What it offers is control: you set the limits, the system enforces them.
